You must have completed your master’s degree or equivalent degree with the minimum percentage criteria –
For General Category – 55% Marks
For ST/SC/OBC/PWD/Transgenders – 50% Marks
If you have pursued your post-graduation in a field that is closely related to the computer science stream, then you can apply for UGC NET exam in computer science.
For JRF, your age should be equal to or less than 31 years but there is no upper age limit for assistant professors.
The computer science & application paper is divided into two parts – paper 1 & paper 2
Paper-I consists of maximum questions from UGC NET Research & Teaching Aptitude.
Paper-II will consist of the questions from computer science & applications.
It is compulsory for all of you to appear in both paper 1 & paper 2.
There will be no negative marking in the exam.
